All children have the right to experience quality childcare. At Superkids, we strive to provide quality care through fostering a warm, safe, trusting, caring and healthy environment, which is non-threatening and enables children to expand their knowledge of the world, and achieve and extend their developmental goals.
We understand and respect that every child is an individual, and is unique in their development. We encourage all children to grow to their full potential and become successful learners.
We recognise that every child learns in a variety of ways which is reflective of their needs, abilities and interests. Superkids’ qualified staff encourage this by creating daily programs which extend on the children’s interests, needs and strengths.
At Superkids, all children are encouraged to explore, discover and learn through a variety of fun filled play experiences and activities that promote positive development.
Our Service is guided by the five Learning Outcomes of the Early Years Learning Framework and the seven Quality Areas of the National Quality Standards
We strongly believe and follow the ideology that children learn through play, and that children feel a sense of belonging through positive play experiences. When children feel a sense of belonging, they feel accepted by others and they develop strong trusting attachments toward their peers and carers.
Superkids acknowledges the importance that each child will be treated equally, so they can learn and develop in a safe and secure environment that is respectful of each child’s diverse cultural background, beliefs, appearances and/or disabilities.
Our service believes it is essential to have close partnerships between parents, families and the community to ensure each child’s individual needs are met, and the best and highest level of care is provided to each child in our care.
At Superkids, we acknowledge and pay respect to the Kombumerri people, the Traditional Owners of the ancestral land that Highland Park Superkids stands. We also like to pay respect to the Elders past, present, and future, acknowledging them as the traditional custodians of knowledge for our land.
