Curriculum

Our Centre implements the Early Years Learning Framework and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines into our daily programs. We offer an Approved Kindergarten Program in our Pre-School room which is delivered by an Approved Early Childhood Trained Teacher, that supports each child’s participation in quality early childhood education.

Our programs focus strongly on play-based learning, and recognise the importance of all areas of development including social, emotional, communication, cognitive and physical.

The Early Years Learning Framework consists of five important learning outcomes which are firmly embedded in our daily programs:

• Children have a strong sense of identity
• Children are connected with and contribute to their world
• Children have a strong sense wellbeing
• Children are confident and involved learners
• Children are effective communicators

We strongly believe that fundamental learning foundations are built within the first five years of a child’s life, and we ensure that each child’s learning is nurtured and encouraged through our stimulating programs and learning environments. We value the importance of family participation and encourage all families to have input into our daily programs and learning environments.
